Sonny Marvello fizzled into existence like a sparkler in a rainstorm in 2007. The original incarnation of the band was slapdash and foolhardy and duly tried to fly before it could walk, talk or write "bios" and ran off to America and got all excited.
In the little known province of New York the band did play the renowned 'Meany Fest' and were subsequently named "best band" and "best international act"...(other noteworthy achievements of the American adventure are most certainly un-printable and in some cultures unthinkable) .
On returning home to the land of Britain (Great!) Sonny Marvello fell under the spell of bad industry advice and got all un-excited and had their time wasted for a whole year of standard British time...taking some time out to learn to walk and talk and write "bio's" the band re-launched in 2009 and did discover what they had long suspected...that they are one of the only bands on the mostly blue Earth interested in writing "songs" that utilise the age old magic of "music"...the band play these musical songs to people and the people do like them and the band promise that they write these songs from the bottom of their wee hearty places and the people understand...and are glad in their sleepy places.
